Olympus releases Stylus Tough-6000 and Stylus Tough-8000
Two high functional cameras dubbed as Stylus Tough-8000 and Stylus Tough-6000 have been unveiled by Olympus.
Let us first give a look at the features of Stylus Tough-6000, which as a 10-megapixel, dive to 10 feet below the surface, a built-in four preset underwater scene modes to vibrant picture capturing and freezing cold (14 degrees Fahrenheit; -10 degrees Celsius).
On the other hand, the Stylus Tough-8000 is supported with features like 12 million pixels of image resolution, freezing cold (14 degrees Fahrenheit; -10 degrees Celsius), venture 33 feet underwater, nearly 220 pounds of crushing pressure and resistance power up to 6.6-foot drop.
Furthermore, the Stylus Tough-8000 would be available embedded with manometer. The manometer will display the depth of where the images were captured, thus enabling users to easily take videos underwater through the included underwater movie mode.
Both the cameras sport stylish looks, with stainless steel, lightweight and aluminum exteriors with interior rubber gaskets. Users can also control key settings without removing gloves while skiing or driving in snowfall, since the cameras also has the feature of Tap control.
As far as the price and availability is concerned, the Stylus Tough-6000 camera will come in January at a retail price of Rs. 14,675, while the Stylus Tough-8000 can be purchased at the cost price of Rs. 19,565 and will hit the markets this February.
