Nithyananda’s Case Shifted To Karnataka

Nithyananda’s Case Shifted To Karnataka A former disciple of his Bangalore ashram has lodged a complaint against Swami Nithyananda who allegedly features in a sex tape, and confessed that he filmed swami in a sexual act.

On Saturday, police officials stated that the case would now be shifted to Karnataka.

City Police Commissioner T Rajendran stated that Nithya Dharmananda alias Lenin lodged the complaint on Friday, accusing the godman of misbehavior with female followers at the Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam in Bangalore.

Nithya Dharmananda even alleged Nithyananda forced the followers into homophile acts.

Lots of inmates left the ashram. One follower attempted suicide; a disciple died under doubtful situations, he added.

Lenin also claimed that he video graphed swami in 2009. Nithyananda learnt about it later, and threatened him.

Police Commissioner added that Lenin had forwarded the sex tape to the police officials, and a case had been filed against the swami.

However, further actions would be taken by Karnataka police.

“Courts here cannot take cognisance of what happened in Bangalore,” a police official said. The move has raised many eyebrows. (With Input from Agencies)
