Metropolitan Gaming completes acquisition of Park Lane Club London

British casino operator Metropolitan Gaming Limited has confirmed that it has completed its acquisition deal takeover control of the prestigious Park Lane Club London property from Silverbond Enterprises Ltd.

Using an official press release, Metropolitan Gaming Ltd. detailed that the company has carried out the acquisition of the Park Lane Club London for an undisclosed amount through one of its wholly-owned subsidiaries. With the latest acquisition, the company’s portfolio of British casinos has grown to nine.

It may be noted that the new owner of the Park Lane Club London, which is situated in the capital city’s up-market Mayfair district, decided to acquire the property after Silverbond Enterprises Ltd. had its gambling license revoked in November last year following a review by the Gambling Commission.

The new owner of the London-based gambling-friendly property has plans to rebrand Park Lane Club London as Metropolitan Park Lane. The rebranding will take place following the completion of a refurbishment program. In the meantime, Park Lane Club London will remain fully open and continue to trade and welcome gaming enthusiasts.

Michael Silberling, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Metropolitan Gaming Ltd., noted that his company is moreover responsible for the Emerald Resort & Casino in South Africa and Ramses Casino in Egypt. He stressed that he and his team members were ‘thrilled’ on addition of the two-story property with its 17,000 square feet casino to his company’s growing portfolio of casinos in the UK.

Announcing the completion of the acquisition deal, Silberling described the Park Lane Club London property as an excellent addition to the company’s portfolio of premier casinos.

Speaking on the topic, Silberling added, “We have exciting plans to invest in and develop the business moving forward. We look forward to welcoming the Park Lane Club London team to Metropolitan Gaming Limited and creating safe and memorable experiences for our guests in the new location.”

For his part, administrator Bob Maxwell from professional services firm Begbies Traynor said in a statement that the property in question attracted considerable interest from businesses around the world.

Housed within the London Hilton on Park Lane Hotel, the Park Lane Club London offers a fabulous gaming floor, a lounge, a private gaming room, a state-of-the-art bar, a luxury spa and an outdoor gaming terrace. In addition to all that, the club offers health & wellness facilities including a heated pool, a fitness centre and a steam room.
