Kia Seltos Facelift 2023 model will be launched in the Indian market on July 4. The mid-size SUV from Kia has been quite successful in the Indian market. The Kia Seltos Facelift 2023 will have many new features compared to the earlier model launched by the South Korean auto manufacturer. Kia Seltos was launched in India in 2019 and this is the second time the company has updated the SUV.

Infotainment
The new dual 10.25-inch screens will give the car a premium feel, similar to Kia’s flagship model EV6. The screen will be changed to the variant sold globally by Kia. The Indian version was smaller screen but this will change with the facelift model.

Level 2 ADAS Tech
Kia has confirmed that the upcoming Kia Seltos Facelift will feature Level 2 ADAS tech which was missing in the current model. The new Kia will have adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring system and many other interesting features.

Safety Features
Indian government has mandated that cars launched in India from October 2023 onwards must have six or more airbags. Current Kia Seltos has four airbags but the Kia Seltos Facelift 2023 will have six airbags, offering additional safety. The current model of Kia Seltos has six airbags only in the expensive variant but it will be standard feature in the upcoming models.

Panoramic Sunroof
In expensive cars, panoramic sunroof is coming as a standard feature these days. Kia Seltos Facelift will also have a panoramic sunroof. Many consumers were complaining about the missing sunroof in Seltos and the company has already made that change in the new model.

The technical specifications and engine power would remain the same. The Seltos is powered by 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol motor with manual and IMT gearbox options. The car makers have to comply with BS6 Phase 2 norms that became effective from April 2.

Kia Seltos is currently competing with VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota's Urban Cruiser.

As per report, dealers across the country have been offering discounts to clear their existing stock before Kia Seltos Facelift 2023 variant launches in July. In certain cities, Kia dealerships are offering discount up to Rs 75,000 on the current model. The dealers are also offering accessories. Kia has already started accepting bookings for Kia Seltos Facelift.

In July, Maruti and Hyundai are also launching new vehicles. Maruti Suzuki Invicto will be launched on July 5 and Hyundai Exter will be launched on July 10.
