Indica Vista Launched In The Capital
Tata Motors today launched its latest Indica Vista in New Delhi, which is being considered the new generation among the existing models.
Mr Rajiv Dube, Tata Motors’ president (passenger car business unit), who was extremely happy with the launch reported, “With new technology incorporated into the Vista, virtually nothing but the brand has been carried forward from the old Indica.”
Presently, Tata Motors is facing lot of trouble with the implementation of Nano plant at Singur, deadline of which is nearing by October. However, Mr Dube is hopeful that the Indica Vista will bring in a lot of profit for the company in near future. Mr Dube however didn’t’ feel like commenting on the present scene which is going on at Singur regarding the Nano plant.
The new Indica Vista is hoped to replace seven out of 14 variants of existing Indica. In another six months, the company is hopeful that the export of its latest car would start. Mr Dubey clarified, “We will rationalise the Indica portfolio by correcting some overlapping price points.”
