Hiller's shutout gives Ducks three wins in a row
ANAHEIM, Calif., Nov. 28 -- Jonas Hiller recorded his second career shutout Friday in Anaheim's 1-0 victory over Chicago.
Hiller, in his second NHL season, filled in for regular starter Jean-Sebastien Giguere, who returned to his hometown of Montreal for family reasons.
Chicago peppered Hiller with 15 shots in the second period and the Anaheim goaltender stopped 26 overall.
The game's lone goal came from Ryan Getzlaf at 15:19 of the second period after assists by Corey Perry and Bobby Ryan. It was Getzlaf's ninth of the year and brought the Ducks their third straight victory following five losses in six games.
Cristobal Huet stopped 20 shots in the Blackhawks' second straight loss.
Anaheim is 13-2 in its last 15 contests against Chicago. (UPI)
