HDFC inks pact with NCR; to open 300 new ATMs in the Country
India's leading private banking services provider HDFC Bank will soon open 300 more ATMs in country. The bank has already placed an order for 300 additional automated teller machines with ATM manufacturer NCR.
The present order is in line with HDFC bank's expansion strategy in India.
The bank's contract with Ohio-headquartered NCR includes end-to-end automatic and electronic incident management using Gasper software management tools, help desk services, second-line maintenance, first-line maintenance, currency forecasting, cash replenishment, software distribution, consumables supply and management, and network management.
The bank has also renewed its contract with NCR to manage already running 2,000 ATMs across India.
HDFC Bank, at present, has over 754 branches spread over 327 cities across India. The bank also has a network of over 1,900 networked ATMs across these cities. HDFC Bank recently acquired Centurion Bank of Punjab.
Centurion Bank of Punjab has a vast network in North India and some parts of South India.
