‘Mooing’ at cows can boost their milk production!London, Sept 21 : Farmers in Britain are being asked to ‘moo’ at their cows — in a bid to boost milk production.

The move comes after a dairy farmer reported getting six times more milk by mimicking his herd’s sound.

Graham Vallis, 48, does meditation-style mooing for five minutes before milking — and said his cows fall into a relaxed state.

Now the Federation of Organic Milk Groups is urging its 450 members to do the same.

Gas escape leaves 31 dead, 13 missing at central China coal mineBeijing - A sudden escape of gas and coal killed at least 31 people and left 13 missing at a mine in the central Chinese province of Henan on Sunday, the government said.

The accident occurred at the privately operated Xinfeng No. 2 coal mine in Henan's Dengfang city at about 1:30 am, the State Administration of Work Safety reported.

Rescue workers had confirmed the death of 31 miners by mid-morning and were searching for 13 others still missing underground, the administration said.

Indian Techie Charged With Stealing Trade Secrets

A former Intel employee from India, Bishwasmohan Pani has been charged with theft of trade secrets, while working for rival AMD (Advanced Micro Devices).

However, speaking to CNN on this, Pani ruled out the charges levied on him by Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). He said that design files were meant to help his wife who still works with Intel and were not intended for sale. 

In July, the FBI founded 13 top secret files with details of future Intel chip designs from Pani’s house in Worcester, Massachusetts. As a result he was charged by the US District Court in Boston in late August.

Pani has so far not been arrested by the police, but has been asked to surrender his passport to the US authorities.

The Govt Allows Indian Editions Of Foreign News Magazinesunion government has given its approval in the recent meeting held in New Delhi. The proposal on Indian additions of foreign magazines was sent by the Information & Broadcasting (I&B) Ministry. The norms of country allow the publication of scientific, technical and specialty periodicals editions of foreign magazines in the country with cent per cent foreign investment.
