Washington, Oct 31 : Researchers at UC Davis Cancer Center have discovered that the HER2 gene itself is the key behind the aggressiveness of HER2-positive breast cancer.

They found that HER2 advances tumour growth by shutting down its own regulator gene, labelled LRIG1 and commonly called "Lig-1".

The new study comes in line with recent research showing that Lig-1 limits the growth-promoting signals of HER2.

Now, the researchers have found that the regulator is significantly suppressed when compared to healthy breast tissue.

London, October 31 : French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s penchant for “flashy” items like large gold Rolex and Ray-ban sunglasses has been criticised in an animated YouTube clip, which has become a hit in the country.

The five-minute clip, entitled ‘Le King of Bling Bling’, shows Sarkozy surrounded by scantily-clad women, singing "I am the King of Bling-Bling".

The video begins with his wife Carla Bruni’s voice, and then shows Sarkozy driving through town in a sports car.

He later appears wearing a lot of gold jewellery or "bling", smoking a cigar, and clutching several mobile phones.

The president also raps with glamorous women in a nightclub in the video.
