Dhaka, Oct 27: A number of medieval structures, located in Chapainawabganj, Bangladesh, are in danger of decaying through relentless neglect by officials.

According to a report in The Daily Star, the Department of Archaeology does not have the funds or manpower necessary to conserve and carry out necessary restorations of the edifices that are gradually wearing away.

These structures, which were built between 1494 and 1519 AD, include Sona Masjid (mosque), Tahkhana, Kotwali Darwaza (main gate to the ancient capital) and many more.

There are a few others mosques in the area and some are decked with exquisite terracotta plaques, though most have lost their gleaming glory.

London, Oct 27: The Boeing Company, which is a major aerospace and defense corporation, has said that biofuel-powered aircraft could be carrying millions of passengers around the world within three years.

According to a report in the Guardian, Darrin Morgan, an environmental expert at the US jet manufacturer, said that the group was expecting official approval of biofuel use in the near future.

“The certification will happen much sooner than anybody thought,” he said. “We are thinking that within three to five years, we are going to see approval for commercial use of biofuels - and possibly sooner,” he added.

Morgan added that the aircraft will not require modification to operate on a blend of biofuel and kerosene.

The book ‘Heath: A Family’s Tale says that the disease might be genetic as the late actor’s uncle Haydn was recently diagnosed with the Bipolar disorder, a category of mood disorders.

Heath, who died due to accidental overdose of prescription drug, might have had swings between euphoria and despair due to the same disorder, according to the biography by Janet Fife-Yeomans.
