London, Feb 10: Puerto Rican actor Joaquin Phoenix has admitted that he has deliberately ditched his movie star looks to form another image from the one the public has of him.

Phoenix, 34, now sports an unwieldy beard, scruffy clothes and silly headwear and is making attempts at starting a rap career.

"People have called me a sex symbol in the past, but it''s very much an effort," the Sun quoted him as saying.

"People know me as this kind of thing and in some ways I don''t know that this is my look.

Bhopal, Feb 10 : Shooting of Bollywood flick ''Rajniti'', which depicts the political scenario of the country, got underway in Bhopal.

The film is directed by Prakash Jha known for his hard-hitting films ''Gangaajal'' and ''Apaharan''.

Prakash Jha''s film stars Katrina Kaif, Arjun Rampal, Nana Patekar and Manoj Bajpai.

Speaking to the media, director Prakash Jha denied that the character of Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif resembled that of Sonia Gandhi.

London, Feb 10 : The British Government is recruiting prominent Muslim citizens in the country to feature in an advertisement asking Pakistanis to desist from supporting extremist activities.

The three-month public relations offensive, called "I Am the West", consists of television commercials and high-profile events in regions such as Peshawar and Mirpur.

It is being funded by the Foreign Office, which is paying up to 400,000 pounds for a pilot project, The Guardian reported.

The `Lara Croft' star fuelled an immediate hunt for her Asprey earrings at the Dorchester hotel.

"Staff got a frantic call from Angelina at the airport, urging them to take her room apart," the Mirror quoted a source as saying.

The source added: "Happily, the diamonds were found after a 90-minute hunt and promptly sent back to LA."
