Former COO of PCB ready to help in Asif’s Dubai detention case
Lahore, Jan. 23 : Replying to the Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) letter enquiring about Mohammad Asif's Dubai case findings, former Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the PCB, Shafqat Naghmi has said that he is ready to assist the new enquiry committee, The News reported.
Naghmi, in his letter to the PCB said that he had an conducted enquiry into the issue and had also received a written report from Dubai during the investigation.
"Mohammad Asif's statement was also recorded before the committee, however, it contradicted the Dubai report," the letter said.
Naghmi added that he was removed from his post before he could come to a conclusion over the issue. (ANI)
