The failed marriage case of French basketball player, currently playing for NBA's San Antonio Spurs, William Anthony "Tony" Parker and his seven-year senior actress wife Eva Longoria has taken a new turn as reports suggest that it was a case of emotional infidelity on the star player's behalf.

Marc Malkin of E! Online (blog) has said that Tony had an affair with his former team mate Brent Robert Barry's wife, Erin Barry. Marc Malkin said that their source confirmed exchange of sexy text messages between Tony and Erin but that's about it. There was no physical relationship as per the source.

They also claim that one of Tony's pal revealed, he did have an affair in the initial days of the marriage but no other woman is jumping into the scene as this is not a Tiger Woods situation. The pal even went on to say that Tony knew, the text messages went too far and he knows that his marriage with Eva is now over.

TMZ went on to talk about the situation with Brent Barry's father Rick Barry, who is a NBA hall of fame. Rick said "I feel horrible for my son," "I'm in shock. I knew [Erin] was moving out of the house soon and she was the one who filed the divorce."
