Era Infra Engineering wins orders worth Rs 294 crore; stock surges 10%
Era Infra Engineering Ltd, a unified infrastructure development conglomerate, has informed that the company has pocketed four orders worth Rs 294.13 crore.
The company has secured first contract worth Rs 88.78 crore from National Institute of Technology, Calicut for construction of "Mega Hostel" at NIT, Calicut. The scope of work includes civil works, plumbing & sanitary works, electrical installation work, fire hydrant and alarm works, road and drain works.
While, the second contract, valued at Rs 73.73 crore has been secured for construction of 200 bedded hospital at Kokiwala Bagh, Ashok Vihar, Phase-IV, Delhi. The construction includes OD, Ward, services, Nurses & RMO Hospital block including internal water supply & sanitary installation and internal electrical works by PWD (GNCTD)
The company has received third contract for construction of Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Senate Campus & Academic Campus for Baba Farid University of Health Sciences by Public Works Department (B&R), Govt. of Punjab & Punjab Infrastructure Development Board (PIDB). The contract is valued at Rs 71.36 crore and scope of work includes civil works, internal plumbing and services, fire fighting works, electrical works and HVAC.
The fourth contract valued at Rs 60.26 crore, is for developing athletics training venue for Commonwealth Games - 2010 at Chhatrasal Stadium, New Delhi. The construction includes Administrative cum Athletic Block & Double Basement Parking including civil & electrical services of building, development of site, bulk services, renovation of stadium & land-scraping by PWD (GNCTD).
After receiving such big orders, the company shares surged 15% during intraday session, but finally settled the day at Rs 79, up 9% compared to previous close of Rs 72.
