Abu Dhabi - The Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak arrived in the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday for a two-day visit.

Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan, President of the UAE, welcomed Mubarak at the airport and accompanied him to Mushrif Palace, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.

Mubarak's visit aims to enhance "brotherly relations" between the UAE and Egypt.

They will also exchange views on a number of issues and current developments in the Arab and international arenas, WAM said. (dpa)
