The shooting of ‘Current’ directed by Surya Pratap, presented by Annapurna Studios, and produced by Chitalapudi Srinivasa Rao and A Naga Susheela on the banner of Sri Nag Corporation with Sushant of ‘Kalidas’-fame, grandson of Akkineni Nageswara Rao and nephew of Nagarjuna is in brisk progress.

Producers say, ‘We are sure that our film would remain a trendsetter among the films with love story in their backdrop. Definitely the film would remain a turning point and give the adequate break to Sushant. The taking of the director would remain a highlight, while Vijay C Kumar’s cinematography would be an added attraction.

We are planning to release the film as a summer special.’ Tanikella Bharani, Brahmanandam, Sunil, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam and others are in the cast. Music is by Devisri Prasad, editing is by Marthand K Venkatesh, while story, screenplay and direction are by Surya Pratap. -Sampurn Media
