Chiranjeevi files nomination from Tirupati
Hyderabad, Apr 4 : Telugu superstar and Praja Rajyam Party chief Chiranjeevi on Saturday filed his nomination papers for the Tirupati Assembly seat in Andhra Pradesh.
His wife Surekha and son Ram Charan Tej accompanied him at the time he filed his nomination.
Chiranjeevi is also contesting from the Palkole Assembly seat in his native West Godavari district.
Earlier in the day, the actor and his wife Surekha declared their assets worth Rs. 88 crore.
The Telugu megastar has less assets in his name than his wife. The couple, however, has beaten Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy's son Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy and his wife, who declared assets of Rs. 77 crore.
Chiranjeevi has immovable assets worth over Rs. 30.32 crore while his wife Surekha has Rs. 48 crore in her account. (ANI)
