CAT Exam Results On Cell Phones Via Rediff’s Exclusive SMS Service

The results of ‘CAT 2007’ will be released today from 3 p.m. onwards. The students who have appeared in CAT (Common Aptitude Tests) exams in November 2007 will be capable of accessing their results through Rediff’s short code SMS service.

In order to access the results, users can type ‘CAT’ along with their ‘test registration number’ accompanied by their application number and SMS it to ‘57333’. The MBA aspirants will immediately receive the result on the cell phone.

Alternatively, the students can also enter ‘CAT’ with their ‘test registration number’ plus their ‘date of birth’ (DDMMYY format) and access the result on their mobile handset.

In case the users need any type of help in accessing their results, they can simply send an SMS: 'CAT' to 57333.

Rediff’s CAT result mobile service is accessible to all mobile subscribers. BSNL subscribers will be charged Re 1 per SMS, whereas other network subscribers will be charged Rs 3 for each SMS.

The students can also see their results on CAT website ‘www.catiim.in’.

The details of the date and venue for group discussions (GD) and interviews will be made available by post as well as on the individual IIM websites only after a few days.
