Casino sues estate of suicide business tycoon for casino debt
Hong Kong - A Las Vegas casino is suing the estate of a Hong Kong businessman who leapt to his death after running up a casino bill of almost 800,000 US dollars, a news report said Thursday.
Wynn Las Vegas filed the suit in Hong Kong's High Court alleging that Alvin Lau Chiu-leung failed to pay back 782,000 dollars of a 2005 credit advanced by the casino, the South China Morning Post reported.
Lau, director of a Hong Kong-based garment company Grandway International, jumped from the 29th floor of a Hong Kong high-rise office block in July. (dpa)
