Casino operator Boyd signs partnership deal with Las Vegas Raiders

Boyd Gaming Corporation, an American gaming & hospitality services provider based in Paradise (Nevada), has announced the signing of a new partnership with Las Vegas Raiders.

Under the terms of the partnership deal, the casino operator will become the official as well as exclusive local casino partner of the NFL franchise Las Vegas raiders and its Allegiant Stadium.

The deal also provided the gaming company with the status of “founding partner” of Las Vegas raiders’ home field that provides for prominent signage and branding at the venue. The gaming company will be able to apply its brand on the west side of the Allegiant Stadium’s upper deck. Furthermore, Boyd will be a presenting partner of the NFL franchise’s weekly in-season radio show as well as one home game each year.

Apart from all that the two entities will join forces for regular customer promotions and advertisements.

When asked for a comment on the deal, Boyd Gaming CEO Keith Smith said, “Since arriving in Las Vegas, the Raiders have greatly enhanced and strengthened our city’s reputation as the Entertainment and Sports Capital of the World, giving fans across the country another reason to visit Southern Nevada.”

Being a major NFL franchise in the gaming hub of Las Vegas, it’s not surprising for the Raiders to sign such partnership deals. In fact, it has such partnership deals with multiple local gaming companies, including Caesars Entertainment, MGM Resorts International, and Wynn Resorts, and the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians of California. Just like Boyd, each of the other gaming operators has gained the status of founding partner of the Allegiant Stadium.

The Raiders’ partnership with Boyd makes sense, simply because the gaming company’s casinos are quite popular with locals. Secondly, some of its venues are tourist destinations that draw tourists from around the country.

Boyd has more than two dozen casinos in ten states of the U.S., but it is usually being considered as a regional operator. The list of this Las Vegas-based gaming company’s gaming venues includes Aliante Casino-Hotel & Spa in Las Vegas, Amelia Belle Casino in Louisiana, Ameristar Casino Hotel Kansas City in Missouri, Ameristar Casino Resort Spa St. Charles in Missouri, Belterra Casino Resort in Indiana, Belterra Park Gaming in Ohio, Blue Chip Casino Hotel Spa in Indiana, and California Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Cannery Casino Hotel in Las Vegas.
