Rentokil India Pvt. Ltd, a subsidiary of UK-based Rentokil Initial PLC, is planning to invest about $25-30 million (about Rs 105-126 crore) in its pest control business over the next three years.
Rentokil entered the country in 2007 end by acquiring a local company. In the last six months, it acquired over six companies in the south and is planning to acquire 4 to 5 more companies, which are in the pest control business.
Apart from these acquisitions, the company is also looking at a pan-India presence by end of next year.
Hyderabad-based Indu Projects Limited, one of India's fastest growing infrastructure majors, has received an investment of US $77 million (Rs 325 crore) from Swiss banking major Credite Suisse.
This is the first tranche of an overall committed investment of US $113 million (Rs 476 crore). Avendus Capital has been the Sole Advisor to this transaction.
