Blonde Bond learns to ski to set Swiss Alps on fire for new 007 flick
London, Sept 18: Daniel Craig is hitting the slopes to learn how to ski for a ‘major’ action sequence in the new Bond film.
The Brit star is determined to follow in the footsteps of Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, and Pierce Brosnan who all thrilled with ski sequences in their respective 007 movies.
A source revealed that new 007 movie, till now known simply as Bond 22, will be largely snow-bound for the first time since ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’, so its essential that Craig know how to ski.
“For the first time since 1969’s On Her Majesty’s Secret Service film, Bond will be largely snow-bound,” The Sun quoted the source, as saying.
The source also added that much of the movie will be filmed in the Swiss Alps.
“Much of it will be filmed in the Swiss Alps. The film is in pre-production for a major ski sequence,” the source added.
In the meantime, Bond bosses are also busy looking for the main Bond girl. They are reportedly on the lookout for a Latina actress in her late twenties.
The new Bond flick is scheduled to hit theatres in November 2008. (With Inputs from ANI)
