Bharti AXA Life Insurance Company has announced that it has launched its 100th branch in India, at Delhi.

In order to strengthen branch network in Northern India, the company is also launching operations in Ghaziabad and Faridabad.

Bharti AXA Life Insurance has diversified its business footprints in large and small cities and towns.

The multi-channel distribution spread of Bharti AXA Life consists agents, corporate agents and brokers, bancassurance and telcassurance.

Answering the queries on the launching ceremony, Mr. Nitin Chopra, CEO of Bharti AXA Life Insurance Company stated, “I am delighted to be launching our 100th branch within 19 months of commencing national operations. We hope to expand our network in India to over 200 branches by December 2008, making our geographical expansion plans one of the most aggressive in the Indian life insurance industry.”

Bharti AXA Life Insurance Company is a joint venture between Bharti Enterprises and AXA, world leader in financial protection and wealth management.

The joint venture company holds 74% stake from Bharti and 26% stake of AXA Asia Pacific Holdings.
