Bharti Airtel and RIM jointly unveil “Blackberry Pearl 8110” in India for Rs 24,990
Bharti Airtel, India's leading private telecom services provider and Research in Motion (RIM) jointly unveiled the new BlackBerry Pearl 8110 Smartphone in India.
The BlackBerry Pearl 8110 comes with built-in GPS (Global Positioning System), rich multimedia features, powerful communications capabilities and the exceptional user experience that people love about BlackBerry® smartphones.
It is one of the smallest and lightest Smartphones on the market and is designed for people who want to make the most of their work and personal lives.
The smart new phone is capable of accessing up to ten supported email accounts using the BlackBerry Internet Service, and corporate email and data systems via the BlackBerry enterprise server.
Featuring an elegant black finish, the BlackBerry Pearl 8110 smartphone features a 2 megapixel camera with 5X digital zoom and enhanced flash. The camera also supports video capture in two resolutions (240x180 or 176x144) for sharing via email or MMS. It also features GSM/GPRS/EDGE and Bluetooth connectivity.
The advanced media player and enhanced desktop media manager software provided with the Smartphone allows customers to easily manage music, pictures and video between their PC and the BlackBerry Pearl 8110.
The BlackBerry Pearl 8110 will be available from Airtel for Rs 24,990.
