Automobile shares were in demand with Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, Tata Motors and Eicher Motors Share price gaining impressively in early trades. Bajaj Auto was among major NSE gainers with almost 5 percent jump compared to yesterday’s close. Bajaj Auto also touched 52-week high of Rs 5084 in today’s session. Four out of five top gainers on NSE were from automobile sector. Tata Motors and Hero MotoCorp were trading firm as well.

US markets closed positive on Thursday and the mood in global markets is positive. Investors are cautious as well and we could see weakness at higher levels but overall, the sentiment is slightly positive. BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty were trading 0.3 percent higher and NSE Nifty is comfortably above 20,000 levels. The sentiment is Indian markets is positive.

Eicher Motors was up by 1.2 percent at Rs 3420, after touching intraday high of Rs 3445. Hero MotoCorp gained nearly three percent and was trading at Rs 3084.

Among other gainers on NSE were Coal India, Adani Enterprises, HDFC Bank, Wipro, Grasim and M&M.
