Ashutosh Kaushik wins ‘BIG BOSS 2’ Title along with Rs 1 crore cash

Ashutosh Kaushik wins ‘BIG BOSS 2’ Title along with Rs 1 crore cashThree months after enrolling in the reality show, Ashutosh Kaushik, a dhaba owner from Uttar Pradesh, was announced as winner of the 'Bigg Boss 2'on Saturday.

The reality show is the Indian version of Celebrity show Big Brother in the UK.

Kaushik, a-29-year-old guy, who took home Bigg Boss 2' title and a whopping Rs 1 crore in cash, won another reality show earlier this year - MTV Roadies.

Ashutosh's is truly a 'rags to riches' story because a few months ago, he didn't have a roof over his head and slept on the streets of Mumbai. He believes that it was his frankness and the fact that he was himself on the show, which stole million of hearts.

Kaushik said, "My victory should send a message to the people in small towns -- that we can make it big."

On answering a query to prize money, he said, "I don't know what I would do with the so much cash. I will let my parents decide that."

However regarding the controversy about him being flirtatious with former Miss World Diana Hayden on the show, Kaushik dismissed it as "all in good humour".

"There was nothing between us. I never knew the media would overstate the situation so much. Diana is a good friend of mine. But if people still have second thoughts about it I am ready to get a 'rakhi' tied from her," he answered, smiling bashfully.

Bollywood star Actor Akshay Kumar announced the winner in presence of the show's host, Shilpa Shetty along with Raja Chaudhry, who became the first runner-up and model-actor Zulfi Syed, who was declared the second runner-up.

Besides announcing the winner of show, General Motors presented Rahul Mahajan, son of BJP leader late Sh. Pramod majahajan, with the keys of a car as the winner of the contestant with the 'biggest' heart.
