Whitney Houston to perform at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party
New York, Jan 17: American singer/songwriter Whitney Houston will be performing on stage for the first time in many years at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party.
Houston, 45, had for years been undergoing problems with drug abuse, and stopped making any public appearances or an album.
However, now Davis' rep has officially revealed that she is ready to take to the stage once again.
"Whitney Houston will, barring any physical ailments, perform at Clive Davis'' pre-Grammy party," the New York Post quoted the rep as saying.
Davis is co-hosting the party with NARAS at the Beverly Hilton on February 7, and will also feature performances by Jennifer Hudson, who has stayed away ever since her mother, brother and nephew were murdered in October, and Sean Combs.
The party has attracted many, with Davis' office getting calls from people with offers of over 20,000 dollars to attend. (ANI)
