It seems the 34-year-old was in much need of the 'weekend getaway' as she is currently prepping up for the release of her Hollywood debut 'Baywatch' alongside Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and is also occupied with the shoot and promotion of her American Drama series. (ANI)
New Delhi [India], Feb. 3 : To commemorate 20 years of 'Judwaa', director David Dhawan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala are all set to begin shooting for the sequel, this week.
The film will feature Varun Dhawan playing two characters along with leading ladies Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu.
It is the best time for the film to start its shoot as 20 years ago on February 7, the original film was unveiled in the theatres.
David Dhawan says, "We wanted to start the journey again around the same time, it's the right time".
"For me, it feels like 'Judwaa' just happened recently as the film holds strongly in my memory. We are very excited to embark on this new journey. Working with David and Varun in the same film makes it even more special," says filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala.

"You get no appreciation and you have to work 24x7 and you never get time off. So people like us, who are professionals, we get that kind of gratitude from our work space. I think women in general are super women, because they always do two jobs. If they are married, they take care of home and on professional front they work," she said.

As far as 'xXx' is concerned it came to me at a phase when I was looking for a solid challenge. The biggest challenge for me was moving out of my comfort zone," Deepika revealed.

Speaking to the media at the promotions, Khiladi said that Gujarat has always been a very special place for him and he is the son-in-law of Ahmedabad.
The 43-year-old actor also opened up about his dream role.
He said, "My father used to narrate the tale of Akbar and Birbal, so when i heard the script of 'Jolly LLB 2' , I felt the character of Jolly is like Birbal, so i went for it".
Jolly LLB 2 is a satirical black comedy drama written and directed by Subhash Kapoor. The film which is a sequel to 2013 film Jolly LLB is scheduled to release on 10 February.

Karachi [Pakistan], Feb. 2 : Indian films could now return to Pakistani theatres as Pakistan's Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has given thumbs up to the information, broadcasting and heritage ministry to uplift the ban.
According to an official handout issued by the information ministry, the government is "pleased to continue the existing open policy to display all international movies (including Indian films) in Pakistani cinemas", reports Pakistan's Express Tribune.
The newspaper reported that the final approval for the directive was given by Pakistan's PM Nawaz Sharif following a report by a special committee for the clearance of Indian films.

New Delhi [India], Jan. 28 : With the motive of helping the kin of slain Indian soldiers, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar met Union Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi at his North Block office here on Friday.
Kumar proposed the idea of creating a special mobile app to help the families of these soldiers financially.
According to Akshay's proposal, a mobile app can be developed that will allow donors to directly pay any amount into the verified bank account of any departed soldier's family.
Akshay also spoke about providing better aid to people of the paramilitary and police forces.
Reportedly, the 49-year-old actor spent nearly an hour at the North Block, wherein officials rushed to get a glimpse or selfie with the actor.

New Delhi [India], Jan. 19 : Deepika Padukone, who aims for world domination with her Hollywood debut 'xXx: Return of Xander Cage', recently revealed on ' The Ellen DeGeneres Show' about how she got the part in the flick.
While making her debut appearance on the world famous chat show, the ' Tamasha' star said, "I actually auditioned for 'Fast and Furious 7' about two-three years ago but for whatever reason that didn't work out. And I think people remember me from that audition. And then, about a year ago, I get a call from Paramount Pictures saying they are casting for this film and so I flew down and met the director DJ Caruso."

New Delhi [India], Jan. 18 : Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor refuses to be son Ranbir Kapoor's friend and attributes this quality to his forefathers.
In conversation with author Suhel Seth at the launch of his book titled 'Khullam Khull: Rishi Kapoor Uncensored', he said, "My father had great reverence for my grandfather and I was brought up in the same manner. It so happened that unfortunately it passed on to me and Ranbir."
The 64-year-old also said he isn't a 'backslapping father' who shares secrets about girlfriends with his son.
"I am not cut out for that, neither do I want to be like that. That we aren't like friends is my failure."
