Melbourne, Mar 14: Australians have come out in support of the Russian "dream job" candidate caught in porn scandal.
Tourism Queensland announced that it is investigating claims that Julia Yalovitsyna, a front-runner in their "best job in the world" campaign, worked as a model for an illegal porn studio and coached women for sexually explicit films.
However, Aussies have backed Yalovitsyna, with most saying she should be allowed in the competition.
Many people believe she would be a good face for Tourism Queensland and that her looks would lure more people to the state.
Melbourne, Mar 14 : Australian skipper Ricky Ponting is happy to bowl part time bowler Simon Katich in occasional short spells as he did on the final day of the second Test when his team needed to end the resistance from South Africa's lower order.
Reluctant Katich is happy to bowl. And, in the process he helped win the second Test and the series.
Ponting threw Katich the ball in Durban and the opening batman took three wickets. The pair had appeared to be involved in a strange standoff until then, FOX Sports reported.
Melbourne, Mar 13 : Singer Dannii Minogue has revealed that she was actually bullied by the British press to be thin like her sister, Kylie.
"I was 19 when I moved to London and the British press put a huge amount of pressure on me - they said I was too fat because I wasn''t the same size as my sister," News. com. au quoted Dannii, as telling Who magazine.
Dannii revealed that she found it uncanny as to why people were bothered about her body, as she felt comfortable in her own skin.
"And you go, well, funny about that because we''re two different people. I definitely felt bullied, but that''s just the size I was," she said.
Melbourne, Mar 13 : A man who was accused of breaking into an adult shop has pleaded guilty to stealing blow-up dolls for sex.
Adam Troy Rosberg, 24, made headlines around the world for smashing his way into the Laneway Adult Shop off Spence St twice last December, having sex with blow-up dolls, and discarding them in an alley.
But, on March 12, he pleaded guilty in Cairns Magistrates'' Court to two break-ins at the adult shop, and two break-ins and an attempted break-in in early January at the Sapphire Bar.
He worked at the bar as a chef at the time, and believed he had been underpaid.
