Melbourne, Nov 21: Former skipper Steve Waugh has said that Ricky Ponting now needs to draw a line through the Nagpur Test and not defend his actions, as it will detract and make the Australian team vulnerable to attacks from sides now sensing a fragility not seen since the mid-1980s.
“If he continues to defend his actions, his mind will be distracted and his team vulnerable to attack from sides now sensing a fragility not seen since the mid-1980s,” Waugh said.
Melbourne, Nov 20 : The town of Hamelin is once again looking for a pied piper, after 700 years, to lure away the rats infesting its town.
The story of the ‘Pied Piper of Hamelin’ had originated centuries ago, and it is a fairy tale based on a mystery piper who got rid of the north German town’s rats by playing on his pipe.
Now, a modern-day piper is being sought to lure the rats away from the town, as its officials have reported an “explosion” in the rat population, reports the Daily Telegraph.
The cause of the increase in rat population has been attributed to a makeshift rubbish dump on the town''s fringes, which has been said to be a “takeaway” food centre for the rats.

The kitten was delivered by veterinarian George Huber and nurse Louisa Burgess, who said that she had never seen a two-faced cat in her 12-year career.
“I have seen cats with two tails and extra legs, but not this,” News. com. au quoted her as saying.
The little kitten does not have a name yet, but its owner is thinking of calling it Quasi Modo, according to local news website inmycommunity. com. au.
Melbourne, November 20 : Rumours are rife that a picture of golden girl Stephanie Rice in this month’s Inside Sport magazine was digitally treated to trim down her post-Olympic figure.
The journal, however, claims that artificial treatment was not used for giving Rice a slim figure in the picture.
Graem Sims, the magazine’s editor, said that the image was only manipulated to "make her skintone look consistent", not to artificially trim down Rice’s post-Olympic frame.
"There was not much (air-brushing) to it, we didn''t really need to, she''s such a stunning girl," the Daily Telegraph quoted Sims as saying.
