Ex-Satyam chief Raju files revision petition in Andhra Pradesh HCHyderabad, Jan 19 : Satyam Computer Services former Chairman B. Ramalinga Raju filed a revision petition in Andhra Pradesh High Court today against his police custody.

Ramalinga Raju, his brother Rama Raju and company''s Chief Financial Officer Vadlamani Srinivas are in police custody since Sunday. They were formally taken into police custody for four days and were grilled by Crime Investigation Department (CID) sleuths.

Meanwhile, a Hyderabad court will hear the bail plea of Ramalinga Raju, Rama Raju and Vadlamani Srinivas.

On Thursday, the Government announced the nomination of three more directors to the board of Satyam Computer Services. They are Tarun Das, Chief Mentor of CII, T. N. Manoharan, an eminent chartered accountant, and Suryakant Balkrishna Mainak of the LIC.

Raju''s bail petition hearing on January 19

B Ramalinga RajuHyderabad, Jan 16 : The Hyderabad court on Friday fixed January 19 as the next date for hearing the bail plea of Satyam Computer''s former Chairman Ramalinga Raju.

An order on police custody has been reserved for Saturday.

The plea was heard before the Sixth Metropolitan Magistrate court here.

On January 12, the court had deferred the hearing of the bail plea of Ramalinga Raju, his brother Rama Raju and company''s Chief Financial Officer Vadlamani Srinivas till today.

All are in judicial custody till January 23 and have been lodged in the Chanchalguda Central Prison.

All are in judicial custody till January 23 and have been lodged in the Chanchalguda Central Prison.

The court will also hear a petition filed by the Security and Exchange board of India (SEBI) for quizzing Raju and the two others while they are in judicial custody.

He said that it is difficult to arrange loans under current scenario and it will be difficult for the company to manage the expenses.

While speaking to NDTV, he said that the company has great talent pool which is able to restore its position in the market. The board of directors is working on various measures to get financial aid and to re-build confidence of investors and employees.

Naidu blames Rajasekhara Reddy for Satyam scamHyderabad, Jan 14 : Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has said that greediness and mania for money of the present state Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy were responsible for the fiasco of Satyam.

"This present Chief Minister has manipulated everything for his favour, for his greediness and also money," Naidu said here on Tuesday evening.

Naidu denied that in 2002 when his party was ruling the State, it knowingly ignored a report of irregularities in Satyam''''s performance.
