Baju Melayu is just like ‘kurta-pajama’, while ‘samping’ is a piece of cloth men folded around the wearer’s waist, falling to the length of the long shirt.

The pain had aggravated so much that a local doctor was called to give him three jabs to reduce the pain.

“My shoulder hurts, but the show must go on,” The Star Online quoted Khan, as saying during an exclusive interview in his luxurious hotel room at the Villa Istana.

SRK to help develop local film industry in Malacca

Kuala Lumpur, Dec 7 : Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who became the first Indian actor to be conferred on a prestigious Malaysian title, has agreed to help Malacca in developing local film industry and scout the state for movie locations.

The 43-year-old said that a team from Mumbai would visit Malacca sometime next August or September to explore locations for movies.

“There is a film I am planning to shoot some time in August and Sep­tember and I will send a team to look around Malacca,” The Star Online quoted him, as saying at a press conference after receiving his Darjah Mulia Seri Melaka (DMSM) from Governor Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob at a ceremony in Ayer Keroh yesterday.

Moreover, Aamir’s macho look in the movie has impressed audiences a lot.

The rumor is that Bollywood Badshah has now zeroed in on Aamir and he is very much excited to do a film with Mr. Perfectionist.

Cinematographer Ravi K Chandran who has shot the actor’s projects ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ and ‘My Name is Khan’ is said to have recommended Murugadoss.

SRK to wear Malaysian samping at Datuk ceremony

Indian superstar Shah Rukh KhanKuala Lumpur, Dec 5 : For Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan, December 6 would be a double treat – he will not only receive Malaysian knighthood but will also wear the official state samping during a special investiture ceremony.

The Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan will be honoured with Darjah Mulia Seri Melaka (DMSM) award.

The ceremony, which will be held in Ayer Keroh, will see the King Khan donning the RM 3,000 specially made black samping adorned with kesidang flower motif.
