Los Angeles, Aug 3 : Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez is reportedly set to return as a judge for the forthcoming season of singing reality show "American Idol".

The 44-year-old, who was a part of the 2011 season, is now in negotiations for a spot in the show's 13th edition. She was not a part of the show in the last season.

Lopez is reportedly nearing an agreement with broadcasting company Fox, reports people. com.

New Delhi, Aug 3 : Ace designer Manish Malhotra promises that his grand finale show at the ongoing Delhi Couture Week (DCW) 2013 will live up to the 'grandness' of its name. His collection, to be showcased Sunday, is inspired by vintage architecture.

"The show is going to be lavish, grand, and glamorous and everything that we can expect a Manish Malhotra show to be. My collection is inspired by architecture, particularly from 1930s' era, when luxury was celebrated in the most refined form," Malhotra told IANS.

London, Aug 3 : World economy was predicted to grow by 3.1 percent this year as prospects for the global economy have worsened since early May, according to a forecast of the London-based National Institute for Economic and Social Research (NIESR).

Dawn Holland, NIESR principal research fellow, told a press conference Friday: "We are looking at a weak and struggling global economy. We are forecasting 3.1 percent GDP growth in 2013, more or less the same as we saw in 2012."

New Delhi, Aug 3 : Outspoken BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha has caused more embarrassment to his party, saying during a TV interview that senior leader L. K. Advani was best suited to be the party's prime ministerial candidate.

He also said Friday that Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi should not have been made the party's 2014 election committee chief.

In an interview to news channel Aaj Tak, the Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Patna Sahib in Bihar said: "If popularity is the criterion (to choose Modi) then Amitabh Bachchan should have been made this country's president".

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) chairman Rahul Khullar on Friday offered unexpected support to Bharti Airtel, Vodafone India and Idea Cellular by supporting the controversial 3G intra-circle roaming (ICR) agreements.

Addressing the National Telecom Summit organized by CII, Mr. Khullar stressed that intra-circle roaming packs allow network providers to offer telecommunication services to all despite the scarcity of spectrum.
