New Delhi, Aug 23 : The Delhi High Court Friday said that social networking site Facebook Inc and search engine Google Inc are bound by the rules of this country and cannot flout the law just because they are foreign companies.

A division bench of Acting Chief Justice B. D. Ahmed and Justice Vibhu Bakhru also directed the two companies to display on their websites the name and contact details of their grievance officers.

Mumbai, Aug 23 : The Indian rupee rose 2.1 percent to 63.20 against a dollar Friday, the biggest gain in nearly a year after the central bank intervened in the markets.

The rupee appreciated after six days of battering. It had slumped to record low of 65.56 against a dollar Thursday.

The partially-convertible rupee made a smart recovery and ended the day at 63.20 against a dollar at the inter-bank currency markets here, 2.1 percent higher than the previous day's close at 64.55.

This is the biggest single day gain in the value of Indian rupee against dollar since September 2012.

New Delhi, Aug 23 : In order to achieve its vision for 2020, Coca-Cola India has rejigged its key positions, a company statement said Friday.

Sumanta Datta, vice-president - customer and commercial leadership, will take over as vice president, company bottling operations (including Delhi region and National Key accounts).

He will work closely work with the team at Hindustan Coca-Cola to deliver the volume and profitability targets for Coca-Cola India.

Hindustan Coca-Cola is the largest bottling partner of the Coca-Cola Co in India.

Chennai, Aug 23 : Commercial vehicles major Ashok Leyland Ltd Friday announced the launch of its own Neptune family of engines to be fitted its vehicles in a phased manner.

In a statement issued here, the company said: The future-ready Neptune engine will be available in BS-III (Bharat Stage) and BS-IV versions and is also package protected for BS-V and BS-VI."

According to the company, the modular sub-system design ensures maximum vehicle uptime and better noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) characteristics.

Tina Ambani, wife of Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) Chairman Anil Ambani, on Friday appeared before a special CBI court as a prosecution witnesses in the 2G spectrum allocation scam case and claimed that she played no role in Reliance ADAG' affairs.

The CBI alleges that Reliance ADAG created a shell company called Swan Telecom and acquired 2G spectrum indirectly through the shell company for which it was not eligible.
