Washington, Sep 01 : Snapchat is now poised to go beyond its capacity to allow users to share slices of their lives with friends by adding a new feature to its app called "Our story."

The new feature that was rolled out two days ago will allow users to create and view public collection of photos and videos shot during a single live event like, a sports game or a concert, reported The Verge.

New Delhi: State-run United Bank of India on Monday became the first lender to declare debt-ridden Kingfisher Airlines and its promoter Vijay Mallya as wilful defaulters.

"We have declared Vijay Mallya and three other directors of Kingfisher Airlines as wilful defaulters," United Bank of India Executive Director Deepak Narang said.

The Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) of the bank has declared directors Ravi Nedungadi, Anil Kumar Ganguly and Subash Gupte as wilful defaulters.

Washington, Sept 1 : A new study has suggested that the current trend of food production i. e. shift towards meat-heavy Western diets might reach the global targets for total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in 2050.

The study showed that increased deforestation, fertilizer use and livestock methane emissions were likely to cause GHG from food production to increase by almost 80percent and this will put emissions from food production alone roughly equal to the target greenhouse gas emissions in 2050 for the entire global economy.

Washington, Sept 1 : A new study has found that youngsters who have never tried regular cigarettes but have consumed e-cigarettes were likelier to crave the conventional cigarettes.

Lead author of the study, Shanta Dube, associate professor at Georgia State University, studied 2011, 2012 and 2013 National Youth Tobacco surveys of middle and high school students. Among non-smoking youth who had ever used e-cigarettes, 43.9 percent said they intended to smoke conventional cigarettes within the next year, compared with 21.5 percent of those who had never used e-cigarettes.
