Scientists come up with new DNA method to tell twins apart

According to Newser.com report, scientists have found a new way to tell twins apart by studying the different melting points of their DNA.

According to Newser.com, identical twins have identical DNA that on time creates problems for crime scene investigators. There is a possibility that one could blame another for a crime or both could be suspects. As per Science Daily reports, the new method of processing DNA samples can help to find out one identical twin from another.

According to the scientists, they heat samples of DNA to their melting point or at that point at which the hydrogen bonds in our DNA break. The scientists said that every twin's DNA melts at a slightly different temperature. Lifestyle differences like smoking or exposure to sunlight can also cause such variances.
