London, June 18 : If rumours are to be believed, Mariah Carey is set to star on London's West End.

According to sources, the singer has been in the British capital for a series of meetings with a top theatre producer who has now offered her a 15,000-pound-a-week contract.

She will reportedly make her stage debut next spring.

"Mariah's done a bit of acting in her time but nothing on this scale," the Mirror quoted a source as saying.
