Love seems to be the eternal subject for filmmaker Imtiaz Ali. Both his directorial ventures Socha Na Tha and Jab We Met were love stories and his upcoming next, Love Aaj Kal is a love story as well.

But prod him about it and his reply is, “Love is something that I have still not understood. It is ironical that all the three films that I have made till date-Socha Na Tha, Jab We Met and now Love Aaj Kal deal with love. Love can mean different things to the same person at different times. I feel that love is a very overbearing word.”

The National Corruption Perception Survey 2009 (NCPS 2009) indicates that the overall Corruption in 2002 has increased from Rs. 45 Billion to Rs. 195 Billion in 2009. Police and Power maintained their ranking as the top two most corrupt sectors.

London, June 17 : The Mexican Navy has seized over a ton of cocaine stuffed inside frozen sharks by smugglers.

Military pressure is forcing drug gangs to go to greater lengths to conceal narcotics bound for the United States, SKY News reports.

Navy officers cut open over 20 shark carcasses filled with slabs of cocaine after checking a container ship in a port in the southern Mexico state of Yucatan. X-ray machines and sniffer dogs had helped uncover the drugs.

“We are talking about more than a ton of cocaine that was inside the ship,” Navy Commander Eduardo Villa told reporters.

Melbourne, July 17 : Australians wanting to secure an intimate sit-down dinner with Prime Minister Kevin Rudd have just hours left to bid for the privilege on eBay.

But they will need 20,000 dollars or so to be in the running. Rudd is being auctioned online to raise money for a charity as part of the press gallery’s 10th annual Midwinter Ball tonight.

New Delhi, June 17 : Four persons have tested positive for H1N1 virus in the national capital, raising the toll of people affected with swine flu in the state to ten and 35 across the country.

"The four persons who have tested positive for swine flu in the capital are in hospital and undergoing treatment," Dr Shivlal, director of National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD), said.

Jorhat (Assam), June 17 : Activists in Assam's Jorhat district have alleged that a madrassa in Titabor region is sheltering a number of illegal migrants, and called for a
12-hour shutdown against state government's inaction.

Activists of Jatiya Yuba Chatra Parishad and some former Madrassa-e-Islamia workers expressed fear that the migrants might be involved in various illegal activities.
