Washington, June 10 : A synthetic DNA binding compound, called [Fe2L3]4+, has been found to be surprisingly effective at binding to the DNA of bacteria and killing all the bacteria it touched within two minutes.

Led by Professor Mike Hannon and Professor Alison Rodger from the Department of Chemistry at the University of Warwick, were the first to discover the DNA binding properties of the compound.

However, it is now that the strength of its antibiotic powers has interested researchers working on the development of novel antibiotics.

London, June 10 : Bollywood is all set to release the first film based on the Mumbai terror attacks, but not everybody thinks it''s just to showcase the horrific events while the lone suspect is still going under trial.

Titled ''Total Ten'', the film tells the true story of Azam Amir Kasab, 21-the Pakistani national alleged to be the sole terrorist caught alive during the attacks in November.

''Total Ten'' refers to the ten terrorists who allegedly attacked Mumbai.

Sydney, June 10 : A new research has presented convincing evidence that the increasing number of jelly fish, which is a substantial threat to the world's oceans, is due to over-fishing and excess nutrients from fertilizers and sewage.

The research was led by CSIRO Climate Adaptation Flagship and University of Queensland scientist, Dr Anthony Richardson, and colleagues at the University of Miami, Swansea University and the University of the Western Cape.

According to Mr. Vasudeo, traders can buy the stock between Rs 135.90-128.10 with a stop loss of Rs 120.

Shares of the company, on Tuesday (June 09), closed at Rs 141.95 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Current EPS and P/E of the stock stood at 7.63 & 18.59 respectively.
The share price has seen a 52-week high of Rs 151.40 and a low of Rs 31.10 on BSE. 

Mr. Vasudeo also said that if the stock market remains on positive track, the next intraday target will be above Rs 171.60.

Sydney, June 10 : Sydney police have charged a man who allegedly carried a pole during a protest by Indian students in western Sydney.

Two men were arrested after 70 protesters took to the streets of western Sydney for a second night in protest at a series of attacks they claim are racially motivated, The Australian reports.

The crowd that gathered on Wigram and Marion streets in Harris Park at 11.45 p. m. (AEST) was eventually dispersed on Tuesday.

Islamabad, June 10 : The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has categorically rejected a written pardon reportedly signed by the Sharif brothers, which was produced in the Supreme Court by the Attorney General of Sindh, and termed it character assassination of the party's leadership by the government.

"Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif neither addressed any application to Pervez Musharraf nor they signed any pardon," PML-N Central Information Secretary Ahsan Iqbal said.

He said the present government was involving itself in mudslinging and was criticising the personality of Nawaz Sharif the same way as Pervez Musharraf had done.
