The music album ‘Naav Maaza Shaami’’ is introducing a new voice Radha Mangeshkar. Her Last name precisely hints her belonging to the biggest musical family in the film industry. She is the niece of melody queen Lata Mangeshkar and daughter of Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar. Radha is the 3rd generation of Mangeshkar gharana into singing. Her debut album comprises of marathi folk songs. Legendary marathi poet ND Manohar, Sudhir Moghe and Late BB Borkar have written the lyrics of the songs. Her father who is also her guru have composed the music.

London - Fred Goodwin, the British banker whose massive pension entitlement made him the "ugly face" of the banking crisis, has agreed to cut his annual pension payments by 200,000 pounds (324,000 dollars), the BBC reported Thursday.

Goodwin, 50, the former head of the Royal Bank of Scotland, will still be able to draw on 350,000 pounds a year from his pension.

His offer to cut his pension claim came under a threat of legal action from RBS, said the report.

Berlin - German Vice-Chancellor Frank-Walter Steinmeier congratulated celebrated philosopher Juergen Habermas on his 80th birthday on Thursday, lauding him as the "European voice of reason."

In a letter to the philosopher Steinmeier wrote, "for decades you have determined the debates of our country and of Europe," and thanked him for his critical enlightenment, "in the best traditions of our country."
