Washington, Jun 17 : `Miss Congeniality' star Sandra Bullock has hit out at the poor standard of romantic comedy films that are being made now.

Bullock, 44, who has starred in a string of rom-coms throughout her 22-year long career, insists that her role in `Two Weeks Notice' was the pinnacle of the genre.

But she is convinced the 2002 movie, in which she starred alongside Hugh Grant, spelt the end of the genre - because the quality of the movies made now is "c**p".

Washington, Jun 17 : American singer Usher Raymond's estranged wife stylist Tameka Foster has vowed not to publicise her divorce battle with him, and also not to criticise the R&B star in the media.

New Delhi - Three workers of the ruling party were killed by suspected Maoist rebels in West Bengal state Wednesday as paramilitary troops were sent to help quell the violence.

Sydney, June 17 : A new study has found that mountain ash forests in Australia are the best in the world at locking up carbon.

According to a report by ABC News, the study has been carried out by environmental scientist Professor Brendan Mackey of the Australian National University and colleagues.

In the first study of its kind, Mackey and colleagues compared the amount of carbon per unit area locked up in 132 forests around the world.
