Amman - Jordan's King Abdullah II flew to Brussels Wednesday at the start of a European tour chiefly aimed at discussing latest moves to push forward the Palestinian-Israeli peace negotiations on the basis of the two-state vision, officials said.

King Abdullah is also scheduled to visit Britain and Sweden, which is due to take up the European Union's presidency on July 1.

Juneau (Alaska, US), June 17 : Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has accepted comedian David Letterman's apology on making a bad joke about her 14-year-old daughter.

In a statement, Palin said she accepted Letterman's apology "on behalf of young women like my daughters, who hope men who ''joke'' about public displays of sexual exploitation of girls will soon evolve."

Melbourne, June 17 : Miss Universe Australia Rachael Finch has denied rumours that her leaked spat with pageant''s national director could create grounds for her sacking.

The 20-year-old was previously reported to be at the risk of losing her title after details of her letter of complaint to the New York head office of the Miss Universe Organisation was made public.

Finch reportedly claimed she had been pressured by pageant's national director Deborah Miller into signing an exclusive three-year management contract.

London, June 17 : Over 20 complaints have been filed against a Coke ad that shows singer Duffy cycling in a street without lights or a reflective jacket.

In the advertisement, the singer can be seen coming off stage after a gig, and being handed a can of Diet Coke by an assistant.

"You''ve got about two minutes, okay?" the Telegraph quoted Duffy's assistant in the ad as telling the singer.

She then cycles through the night along quiet streets, singing with passers by joining in.
