London, June 20 : Singer Liam Gallagher could barely gather words together when he met Yoko Ono, the wife of his late idol John Lennon.

The Oasis frontman was such a huge Lennon fan that he had even considered shifting into the New York apartment block where the late Beatle was shot dead in 1980.

And when the 36-year-old managed to visit Lennon''s widow at her own apartment, not many words passed between the two.

"Our meeting was really very interesting. We didn''t chat so much though," The Daily Express quoted Ono as saying.

New York, June 20 : Minor league baseball team The Brooklyn Cyclones will officially be renamed The Baracklyn Cyclones for a night in honour of US President Barack Obama.

The first 2,500 fans will receive free Obama bobbleheads as part of the tribute at the game scheduled for June 23 in Coney Island.

Sana'a, Yemen  - Yemeni authorities are considering "all possibilities" as they try to find the kidnappers still holding six foreigners hostage in the north-western part of the country, Interior Minister Mutahar Rashad al-Masri said Saturday.

Agra (Uttar Pradesh), June 20 : A massive fire engulfed a firecracker godown in Jatni Bagh commercial complex of Agra in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.

The fire engulfed several shops in the complex and gutted some of them, causing panic amongst the people.

The fire, which broke out around midnight in the godown owned by Manoj Jain, was eventually brought under control at six in the morning.

Initial reports suggest an electrical short circuit.

Silverstone, Britain  - Nico Rosberg topped Kazuki Nakajimo on Saturday in a one-two result for Williams in the final practice session for the British Formula One Grand Prix.

Rosberg clocked 1 minute 18.899 seconds and Nakajimi had 1:19.102 on the 5.141-kilometres course, with Toyota driver Jarno Trulli third on 1:19.125 minutes.

World champion Lewis Hamilton placed 11th in a McLaren-Mercedes and fellow-British season leader Jenson Button, in a Brawn GP, followed as 12th.
