Silverstone, Britain  - Nico Rosberg topped Kazuki Nakajimo on Saturday in a one-two result for Williams in the final practice session for the British Formula One Grand Prix.

Rosberg clocked 1 minute 18.899 seconds and Nakajimi had 1:19.102 on the 5.141-kilometres course, with Toyota driver Jarno Trulli third on 1:19.125 minutes.

World champion Lewis Hamilton placed 11th in a McLaren-Mercedes and fellow-British season leader Jenson Button, in a Brawn GP, followed as 12th.

Button has won six of the seven season races for a commanding lead on 61 points. Team-mate Rubens Barrichello has 35 and Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel 29 points.

Qualifying was scheduled for later Saturday and the 60-lap race is on Sunday.(dpa)
