Millions of Indian SMEs will now have an easy and cost effective way to sell their products to customers in the USA, thanks to a new program called "Make in India-Sell in America" (MISA) launched by SME MaXX.

Washington D.C. [USA], Oct. 5 : An interdisciplinary team of engineers and pharmaceutical researchers at the University of Alberta has invented a device that can rapidly identify harmful bacteria and can determine whether it is resistant to antibiotics.

The device could save precious hours in patient care and public health, and prevent the spread of drug-resistant strains of bacteria.

The team's findings can help in detecting bacteria and measure their susceptibility to antibiotics in small confined volumes.

The device was designed to look for and trap different types of bacteria and find out which antibiotics are most effective against them.

Rather than growing bacterial cultures then testing them, the microscopic device relies on nano-scale technology for fast results.

A head-to-head comparison of sacral neuromodulation that (an implanted device sold as InterStim), or and botulinum toxin shows that Botox provides more daily relief for women, but might also be associated with more adverse events.

Botox in the bladder muscle works to address urgency urinary incontinence by relaxing the overactive bladder muscles that cause the condition.

A sacral neuromodulation implant does the same thing by sending electrical pulses to nerves in the spine.

According to a statement, the rapper has rescheduled two upcoming shows that were originally scheduled for October 4 and 6, for his ongoing Saint Pablo Tour to December 13 and 22, reports E! Online.

"Due to family concerns, this week's Philadelphia and Detroit dates on the Saint Pablo Tour have been rescheduled," Live Nation said in a statement, "The Philadelphia show will take place on December 13 and the Detroit show on December 22."

The rapper had reportedly cancelled his New York City concert mid-show to protect his wife, who was held at gunpoint and robbed of millions of dollars worth of jewelry.

Washington D.C. [USA], Oct. 5 : A recent research could pave the way to end tobacco cravings after researchers crystallized a protein that holds answers to how nicotine addiction occurs in the brain.

The breakthrough at the Peter O'Donnell comes after decades of failed attempts to crystallize and determine the 3D structure of a protein that will help scientists to develop new treatments by understanding nicotine's molecular effects.

Co-author Ryan Hibbs said, "It's going to require a huge team of people and a pharmaceutical company to study the protein and develop the drugs, but I think this is the first major stepping stone to making that happen."

The protein, called the a4ß2 (alpha-4-beta-2) nicotinic receptor, sits on nerve cells in the brain.
