New Delhi [India], Oct. 8 : Hours after Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan made a statement on the controversial issue of Pakistani artistes ban in India, some fans have expressed their disappointment over his 'diplomacy' while some continue to show their devotion to the actor.

The 34-year-old actor took to social media to issue an official statement regarding the Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association or IMPPA's decision to temporarily ban Pakistani artistes working in Indian cinema in the wake of the killing of 19 Indian soldiers during the Uri terror attack.

Washington D.C.,[US] Oct. 8 : A shocking previously unaired footage from 2005 has surfaced in which presidential candidate Donald Trump can be seen unabashedly bragging about trying to sleep with a married woman and being able to grope women as well.

According to CNN, Trump is heard talking about women in vulgar terms during an off-camera banter during the taping of a segment for "Access Hollywood," footage which was obtained by The Washington Post.

During the vulgar conversation captured by a microphone which Trump was wearing on his lapel, Trump can be heard talking about how he tried to "f***" an unidentified married woman before bragging that he is "automatically attracted to beautiful (women)" and just starts "kissing them."

New Delhi [India], Oct. 8 : Praising 'Maryada Purushottama' Ram at a Ramlila function here, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar taking a pot-shot on politicians demanding proof of the Indian Army's surgical strike in Pakistan's terror launch pads has said there are "some politicians who don't have any 'maryada' (decorum) at all".

"The way they are questioning and bringing down the gallantry of the country's brave jawans, there are some politicians who don't have 'maryada' at all," said Parrikar.

"I was hurt and wanted to reply them, but being the Defence Minister I too have to follow some 'maryada'," said Parrikar.

Dantewada (Chhattisgarh) [India], Oct. 8 : Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh visited a students' training camp where the latter are being provided pre-test training for recruitment in the Bastar Battalion, which is being raised to counter unemployment and combat Naxalism in the region.

Extending his good wishes, Raman Singh said the battalion is being formed only with local inhabitants and should be seen as a great opportunity for the youth.

Imphal (Manipur) [India], Oct. 8 : Life in Manipur, known as the "Jewel of India", has often been disrupted by frequent strikes and shutdowns which have damaged the state's economy and affected the livelihood of the common man.

Concerned over this, residents in Imphal recently took part in a silent rally to register their objections to this "shutdown culture".

The economy, education and health services take a back seat during these man-made hurdles.

The rally started from Thau Ground, Thangmeiband, and moved towards Keishampat Junction and back to the Thau Ground.

Around 700 people participated, including students, transporters, entrepreneurs and women.

New Delhi [India], Oct. 8 : Hailing Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh's announcement that the border between India and Pakistan will be completely sealed by December 2018, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national secretary Shrikant Sharma on Saturday said India is developing new ways to thwart infiltrations and the priority is to dismantle terrorism.

"On our level, we are developing the fencing or the border with Pakistan in new ways to stop infiltration. In that direction, whatever options are on the table before our government and security forces, the government is working on all those options in the right direction. However, the priority is to dismantle terrorism," Sharma told ANI.
