New Delhi [India], Oct.14 : In a session on investment opportunities by states of India, representatives of six states of India made presentations to the delegates attending the BRICS Trade Fair and BRICS Business Forum on the myriad investment prospects in their states.

Showcasing investment opportunities of Goa, the presentation highlighted that Startup Goa has been launched as a grassroots initiative to sprout tech companies from Goan soil.

Goa is a tourism destination hence new tourism services have been initiated to boost tourism in the state. The government of Goa is also encouraging investments in Research & Development, engineering design and technology solutions, manufacturing of components to name a few.

New Delhi [India], Oct. 14 : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday sought an answer from Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on the recent reports of using government funding on ad campaign.

"Arvind Kejriwal must come up and answer on this funding issue, as why so much of fiasco is taking place? Why so many complaints are coming?" BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain told ANI.

Hussain further said that AAP members are habitualized on slapping allegations against others but don't feel the need to provide an answer to the controversies surrounding their own party.

As per reports, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has reportedly used Rs 1.5 crore from the annual budget of Delhi for the campaigns in Punjab and Goa.

New Delhi [India], Oct. 14 : India on Friday lashed out at a Pakistan daily for 'concocting' a story on Indian Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar "admitting" that the recent surgical strikes by the Indian Army were a "bluff" and asserted that the entire report was baseless.

"The News International Pakistan's story titled "Indian FS admits surgical strikes was a bluff" is completely concocted and baseless," Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) official spokesperson Vikas Swarup said in a series of tweets.

He further stated that German Ambassador Dr Martin Ney was in the group of foreign envoys briefed by the Foreign Secretary on September 29 on the surgical strikes and that "they have had no further conversation since on this subject."

Washington D.C. [USA], Oct. 14 : A recent research conducted at the University of Missouri has found that attitudes and desires about marriage can place young people on trajectories toward or away from healthy sexua behaviours .

The first of its kind study examined links between marriage attitudes and sexual behaviours across racial and ethnic minority groups as well as the role skin tone plays in shaping marriage attitudes.

Lead researcher Antoinette Landor, said : "Understanding the impact of marriage and cohabitation attitudes on decisions about sex is important because this work may help scholars and professionals better understand how such beliefs impact behaviours. Further, examining what early factors influence risky sex can lead to better prevention."

Agartala (Tripura) [India], Oct. 14 : The Tripura unit of the All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) has charged the Communist Party of India (Marxist)-led Left Front government in the statet of politicising the issue of ace gymnast Dipa Karmakar returning her gifted BMW due to the poor condition of roads.

Justifying Dipa's concern that in the absence of a BMW service centre in Agartala, it will be very expensive for her to maintain such a posh car, TMC MLA Sudip Roy Barman lauded Dipa for taking a wise decision.

"Now, people are trying to malign her by saying that Dipa has insulted the state by demanding money, which indirectly is trying to shatter her dreams of performing well in the coming challenges," Barman said.
