Bhopal [India], Oct. 14 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Bhopal this evening, where he will inaugurate the newly built war memorial- Shaurya Samarak and address a meeting of ex-servicemen at Lal Pared ground.

Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar will accompany the Prime Minister, who will also call on Jain seer Acharyashri Vidhya Sagar Maharaj, who is staying in Bhopal during Chaaturmas.

The Shaurya Samarak is an imaginative and colourful presentation of valour of Indian forces and a tribute to the martyrs.

The Samarak has been built on an about 13 acres campus at a cost of 41 crore rupees and various stages of life, war, death and victory over death have been displayed here.

Washington D.C. [USA], Oct. 14 : Low socio-economic status and fear of abandonment early in life can lead to poor health in adulthood, regardless of adult socio-economic status, suggests a new study at the Rice University.

The study examined the self-reported measures of childhood socio-economic status, attachment orientations (such as fear of abandonment or difficulty in forming relationships), stress and adult health of 213 participants from 2005 to 2011.

It found that people who were in the lowest 25 percent of the sample for socio-economic status as children had 65 percent worse self-reported health as adults than people who were in the top 75 percent of the sample as children.

Washington D.C.[USA], Oct 14 : Brad Pitt saw some of his children for the first time since news broke of his and Angelina Jolie's divorce and reportedly there was a monitor present.

According to Us Weekly, the 52-year-old star visited them on October 8 however, not all of his kids were there.

The news comes almost a week after the 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' came to a temporary custody agreement that gave Jolie temporary sole custody of their six kids while Pitt received visitation rights.

According to a source familiar with the voluntary agreement, both parents agreed to participate in individual counselling, and Pitt's initial visit with his children would be with a therapist, though nothing has been mandated for supervision or monitoring.

New Delhi [India], Oct. 14 : Janata Dal (United) spokesperson Ajay Alok on Friday said no party claims to be inherently dishonest and only citizens of the country finally deliver their decision in this regard.

"Law is law, it is equal for everyone, be it the Aam Aadmi Party, be it Congress, the BJP or us...transparency in today's age is the most important thing. Aam Aadmi Party has been talking about transparency as well. I would say all the work should be done according to the guidelines of the Supreme Court. Any party which does not abide by these guidelines will be an accused and the accused will be punished accordingly."

He was referring to the failure of the Aam Aadmi Party to make public the details of funding on its website after making tall claims of transparency.
