Mumbai [India], Oct. 23 : Dubbing the expulsion of Samajwadi Party MLC Udayveer Singh for six years as one more 'drama', the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday said that the people of Uttar Pradesh are fed up with the theatrics of the party, and added that the saffron party can only provide development to the state.

"This is one more drama in the Samajwadi Party. Whether somebody is expelled or somebody is fighting or agitating within, I would only want to say that the people of Uttar Pradesh are clearly fed up with the Samajwadi Party family drama. They want development and nothing but development which the BJP can offer," BJP leader Shaina NC told ANI.

Brussels [Belgium], Oct. 23 : Taking strong exception to the atrocities committed by the Pakistan authorities on the people of occupied Kashmir ( PoK), United Kashmir People's National Party (UKPNP) leader Sardar Shaukat Ali Kashmiri has said Kashmiris could die but won't compromise on their motherland.

Delivering a tough message on ' Black Day' on Saturday, the UKPNP leader said, "This day is very important for all those Kashmiris who do care for their own people and want them to be safe and secure; and this day is also a message to those who are committing atrocities, that Kashmiris can die, but they cannot compromise on their motherland."

Chennai [India], Oct. 22 : Tamil Nadu Governor Vidyasagar Rao visited ailing Chief Minister Jayalalitha at the Apollo Hospitals here on Saturday, where he was briefed about the treatment given to her and was informed that she was interacting now and responding to treatment remarkably.

Apollo Hospitals Chairman Dr. Reddy said that Jayalalithaa is being treated by a team of experts consisting of doctors from Critical Care Group, Senior Cardiologist, Senior Respiratory Physician, Senior Consultant, Infectious Diseases, Endocrinologist, Diabetologist and dieticians.

He further informed that the Chief Minister continues to be under treatment and observation for all vital parameters, respiratory support and passive physiotherapy.

In the course of an infection or upon vaccination, specialized cells of our immune system, so-called B cells, produce antibodies that bind viruses and inactivate them. In the context of chronic viral infections such as HIV or hepatitis C virus, however, antibody production by B cells is quantitatively inadequate and starts too late.

Johannesburg [South Africa], Oct.22 : Seventeen-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer has dismissed speculation that he is planning to bring the curtain down on his illustrious career at the end of next season.

In July, Federer ruled himself out of the rest of the season to recover fully from his injury, which got aggravated during his semifinal defeat to Milos Raonic in Wimbledon.

However, since the Spanish maestro has turned 35, there are question marks over how longer will he continue to compete.

When asked whether 2017 would be his last season, Federer insisted that retirement is still far away before adding that he is still looking forward to compete in 2018.

Islamabad [Pakistan], Oct. 22 : The Pakistan Government is likely to make the appointment of its new army chief in a week, who would succeed General Raheel Sharif.

State Minister for Capital Administration Tariq Fazl Chaudhry on Friday revealed, "The government has not yet decided [as to who will be the new army chief] but is likely to announce his name in week or ten days' time."

Serving army chief General Sharif is set to retire in November this year and has announced not to seek an extension in his tenure, reports the Express Tribune.
