Ahmadinejad to go to New York for UN General Assembly
Tehran - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on state television Monday that he would again go to New York to attend this year's United Nations General Assembly session.
It will be Ahmadinejad's third trip to New York since his presidency in August 2005.
The Iranian president did not say whether he would once again attend a question-and-answer session at a New York university like last year when his presence at Columbia University caused controversy. (dpa)
